ex SQ-MCD annual Christmas Dinner

Following my blogpost yesterday, I guess it didn't help that Chris Ng's had the dream kitchen that I always wanted. I loved his Miele's oven and all his kitchen utensils! The Kitchen Aid mixer, the professional craving board, the Made-in-Japan craving knief and the Le Creuset pot! And I haven't got the chance to open all his kitchen cabinets doors yet. I told Chris Ng, all these possession defined a domestic goddness and I am far from it!

I had the chance to see this dream kitchen as I was invited (and finally able to made it after a few years of disappearance!) to his place for a ex SQ MCD's (Marketing , Communication and Development) annual Christmas Dinner over at his new place at Joo Chiat. I am privileged to be invited as I was not from MCD.
We started the night with the most juicy and tender turkey.
Its so good that even the breast meat was eaten up in a flash! The host credited this to the $7000 oven! I need Chris Ng to invite Chris Yeo over for a meal!

The sausage and bread stuffings was excellent.
I loved the bacon sausage rolls and crusty potatoes fried in duck fat! Yummy!
We had a very alcoholic tiramisu coz after just two mouthful, I could see the ceiling fan spinning faster and faster!
We finished the evening with the freshest chocolate souffle. The host did it on the spot with the Kitchen Aid mixer, of course!
And did I tell you Chris Ng had a real Christmas Tree and a robotic vacuum cleaner!

Did I also tell you that my secret ambitious is to like Martha Steward?Hahahaha...

This will probably be the last photo we took at his place as Chris' place was announced for en bloc!

Erm thanks. All 6 of you are welcome anytime! And stop gloating about me to your Chris lah. Think he's had enough about me even though I haven't seen him in over half a decade! ;)

Hahaha...I will certainly keep that in mind. Anyway, I asked him if he ever received your emails in SQ, he coudn't remember. There is definite a reason why both of you were addressed First Name and Last Name. I am sure they were people who got mixed up. But then again, their mistakes are forgivable since there is no "relation"!
